About Us

Alexandra Del Lago was created by Alexandra and Gary Cousins in 2008. Out of passion for travel and the love of discovering new niche fashion labels that have not yet been overexposed, we opened our first "store" selling from our showroom in Fresnaye, Cape Town.

The response was one of immediate excitement which lead us to open our first real store in July 2008 at the newly opened Cape Quarter Lifestyle Centre. This followed with a second store at the exclusive established Hyde Park Shopping Centre.

At Alexandra Del Lago we aim to offer you a selection of great designers from around the world - a mix of established labels we love but could not find in SA, as well as designers we've discovered, met and learned to love through our travels.

PATRIZIA PEPE is our main brand at the moment and a cult label in Italy that has been steadily growing with now over 2200 outlets around the world and 93 stand alone stores!! We are looking forward to introducing Patrizia Pepe mens range soon!

We buy strictly what we like and strongly edit each collection to fit in with our idea of style and quality. We love to mix great timeless pieces with off-the-wall, quirky pieces with strong personality.

We believe fashion is an expression and extension of yourself... if you buy pieces that represent you, they'll pretty much be with you forever.

We love mixing up high-end labels with lower-end ones without compromising on quality...from time to time you'll find some decor pieces or home wear pieces as well... if we love it, we like to share it!

We are also working on an online boutique for our growing number of fans where we will offer special capsule collections and limited editions - just for YOU!
